Prototype BLANKIT

Numerically controlled oscillator (NCO), based around the Analog Devices AD9851 chip, the finished module produces sine & square wave outputs from fractions of a Hertz to 30MHz. all at crystal accuracy and phase noise, a remarkable chip.

In use it is sent 32bit numbers from a PIC such as to create a video VGA result that matched the film camera, interesting project but hell to assemble with a 48 Watt Weller iron.
